Via the Medical seminars which are given throughout the first master year, the student is brought into an active contact and interaction with medical doctors and researchers from scientific, medical and pharmaceutical sciences and from health care in general. Through these contacts the student is stimulated to follow the evolutions and recent developments in biomedical sciences.

The student has to attend eight seminars chosen from a selected offer of seminars organized by research groups, departments and clinical departments of the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, of (inter)national congresses and/or presentations by international guests.

Bachelor in biomedical sciences

• To be able to critically evaluate medical-technological and scientific information.
• To be able to report about relevant medical-technological and scientific data and about new insights in the biomedical sciences in a systematic, critical and clear way.
• To follow evolutions and recent developments in biomedical sciences, and to continuously adjust and improve the own professional thinking and acting.
